Grace VanderWaal performs “The Climb” from Hannah Montana: The Movie (Miley Cyrus, song written by Jessi Alexander and Jon Mabe). Hanna Montana was one of Grace’s favorite TV shows, growing up. Grace plays guitar for this song, at a benefit concert for Valley Hospital Auxiliary’s pledge to support child and adolescent mental health, and Valley’s “Butterflies” program. Butterflies provides a team that plans and assesses needs for families caring for seriously ill children at home. (Ramapo High School auditorium, Franklin Lakes, New Jersey). In supporting this benefit fund, Grace continues to be a champion of those in need and continues to participate in various benefits.
