Yep, the Oscar winner has donated 1 million dollars to the new established United Way Harvey Recovery Fund… a fund that will distribute 100 percent of donations to the victims of the flood.
The CEO of the fund says they are incredibly grateful for the generosity of Leonardo and his foundation, and his gift represents the best in all of us.
Dicaprio’s 1 million dollar donation represents the inaugural donation to the fund but it’s not his first time giving to a good cause.
Back in 2004 Leo’s foundation gave money to the recovery efforts following the Haiti earthquake and Hurricane Sandy.

The singer could have likely used fake jewels or CGI for the seconds-long scene in her music video, but instead she’s bathing in hundreds of karats of borrowed gems from Neil Lane.
Page Six reports that the security involved in the video was “insane,” and we can imagine nobody wanted someone running off with handfuls of diamonds.
The investment has paid off. The video has sparked a ton of rumors and conspiracy theories, and has been viewed more than 75 million times.
